The order stays priced in USDC, so the USD value is fixed and paying in Tether credits the same amount.
Which network is your USDT on?
USDT is not one token. It is a separate contract on each network, and the versions are not interchangeable by sending. So step 3 is not a preference question, it is a factual one: open your wallet and look at which network the balance sits under.
USDT on BNB Chain (BEP-20): connect MetaMask, Rabby, or Trust Wallet, and keep a little BNB for gas. The BNB Chain guide has the exact steps.
USDT on Solana: connect Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack, and keep a little SOL for the network fee. The Solana guide covers that flow.
Both are wallet-connect flows, so there is no deposit address to paste and no network dropdown to get wrong at send time. The checkout builds the transfer against the correct contract for you.
Speed, cost, and what else you can pay with
USDT on Solana usually credits within about 30 seconds. USDT on BNB Chain lands once the BEP-20 transfer confirms, typically quick depending on network conditions.
ROZO charges a 1% service fee, shown before you pay. OpenRouter's own crypto payment path charges 5%. Beyond that you pay the network's gas — a fraction of a cent in SOL, or a small amount of BNB — which goes to the network, not to ROZO.
If your money is not in Tether, you are not locked out. ROZO Checkout also accepts Bitcoin over Lightning (about 2 minutes, any Lightning wallet), USDC on Stellar (a few seconds, fees a tiny fraction of a cent), and USDC on Solana. Most crypto checkouts for AI credits take only USDT and USDC.
If credits do not arrive
Wait out the window first — about 30 seconds on Solana, a little longer on BNB Chain.
Then open your wallet's activity list and look for the transfer. If it is not there, the payment never went out, usually because the popup was dismissed or there was no gas coin (SOL or BNB) in the wallet. Nothing was sent, so retry.
If it is there and confirmed, copy the transaction hash and send it to support with your OpenRouter payment link or payment ID.
Do not pay a second time while you wait. A confirmed transfer cannot be reversed.
Is it safe?
Every USDT route here is wallet-connect, so your keys never leave your wallet and nothing moves until you press confirm. Your wallet shows the token and the amount before you approve.
That also removes the classic USDT mistake: sending one network's Tether to an address expecting another's. There is no address to paste inside the checkout.
