This guide shows how to pay OpenRouter with FixedFloat or pay OpenRouter with SideShift that way: which coin and network to pick on each service, how to make sure the full amount arrives after the swap fee, and what to do if something goes wrong. ROZO is independent and is not affiliated with OpenRouter, Coinbase, FixedFloat or SideShift.

How it works
A swap service such as FixedFloat or SideShift takes one coin and sends another coin to any address you give it. ROZO Checkout gives you a one-time deposit address for an OpenRouter payment. Put the two together: the receiving address on the swap is the ROZO deposit address, and the amount the swap delivers is the amount ROZO asks for.
Three rules make it work:
- The coin and network the swap delivers must be exactly the coin and network you picked on the ROZO page, for example USDT on Polygon.
- The amount that arrives at ROZO must not be less than the amount ROZO shows. Use a fixed rate and enter the ROZO amount as the amount to receive, so the swap fee comes out of what you send, not out of what arrives.
- Each ROZO deposit address is single use. Create a new ROZO payment for every top up.
Step by step
- In OpenRouter, open the Credits page, choose the crypto option, enter the amount and click Purchase. Copy the payment link it creates.
- Open checkout.rozo.ai, paste the link and pick the coin and network the swap will deliver, for example USDT on Polygon. ROZO shows a one-time deposit address and the exact amount. Copy both.
- On the swap service, set the coin you send to the coin you hold, and the coin you receive to the same coin and network you picked on ROZO. The table below gives the names each service uses.
- Choose a fixed rate and type the ROZO amount as the amount to receive. On FixedFloat, select Fixed rate and type the amount in the Receive field. On SideShift, a fixed rate shift lets you enter the exact amount to send or receive.
- Paste the ROZO deposit address as the receiving address. Leave any memo field for the receiving side empty.
- Create the order (Exchange now on FixedFloat, Shift on SideShift) and send exactly the amount the order page asks for, to the address it shows, before its timer runs out.
- When your deposit confirms, the swap service sends the USDT or USDC to ROZO. Once that transfer confirms, ROZO settles the OpenRouter link, usually within about 30 to 90 seconds.
Which coin and network to pick
Pick the row that matches the ROZO payment you created. FixedFloat names are the labels in its Receive list; SideShift names are the coin and network as SideShift lists them.
| ROZO payment | FixedFloat Receive label | SideShift coin and network |
|---|---|---|
| USDT on Polygon | Tether (Polygon) | USDT0 on Polygon |
| USDC on Polygon | USD Coin (Polygon) | USDC on Polygon |
| USDT on Solana | Tether (Solana) | USDT on Solana |
| USDC on Solana | USD Coin (Solana) | USDC on Solana |
| USDT on BNB Chain | Tether (BEP20) | USDT on BSC |
| USDC on BNB Chain | USD Coin (BEP20) | USDC on BSC |
| USDT on Arbitrum | Tether (Arbitrum) | USDT0 on Arbitrum |
| USDC on Base | USD Coin (Base) | USDC on Base |
Two labels catch people out. SideShift lists Polygon USDT under the name USDT0, which is the same Polygon USDT token ROZO accepts. When we checked on 20 October 2026, FixedFloat's Receive field started on Tether (TRC20), which is Tron: ROZO does not accept Tron, so change it before you continue. Ethereum (ERC20) also works, but gas is out of proportion on a $10 to $20 top up.
What each service publishes about fees, timing and minimums:
| Item | FixedFloat | SideShift |
|---|---|---|
| Service fee | Fixed rate 1% plus network fee; float rate 0.5% plus network fee | Included in the rate shown; network fees depend on the coins |
| Rate lock | Fixed orders last 10 minutes; float orders 30 minutes | Fixed rate locked for 15 minutes; variable rate set when your deposit arrives |
| Minimum | Shown in the amount field | Shown on the order; it moves with prices and network fees |
| Time | After the required network confirmations | About 10 minutes on average |
On top of the swap fee: OpenRouter's own crypto fee, around 5% as listed on OpenRouter's FAQ at the time of writing, is already inside the link amount, and ROZO charges a 1% service fee, shown before you pay. OpenRouter's crypto checkout has a $10 minimum.
Common mistakes
- Wrong network. The receive coin on the swap must match the ROZO page exactly: USDT on Polygon is not USDT on Tron or on Ethereum. If a transfer arrives on the wrong network the payment cannot match.
- Receiving less than the amount. With a float or variable rate, or with the amount typed on the send side, the swap fee and price moves come out of what arrives. Use a fixed rate and type the ROZO amount as the amount to receive.
- Sending a different amount to the swap. On a fixed rate order, send exactly what the order page asks for. If the amount differs, FixedFloat offers a refund or the market rate instead, and SideShift rejects and refunds the deposit.
- Reusing an old deposit address. Each ROZO deposit address is single use. If you paid this way before, do not copy the address from that earlier swap order; paste the new one for every payment.
- Memo. ROZO deposit addresses on these networks do not take a memo, so leave the receiving memo field empty. On the sending side it is different: if the swap's deposit for the coin you send shows a memo, include it, or that deposit might be lost.
- Letting a timer run out. FixedFloat fixed orders last 10 minutes and SideShift fixed rates 15 minutes, and the ROZO quote has its own expiry. Create the ROZO payment, then the swap order, then send at once.
If something goes wrong
Keep two references: the swap order ID and the ROZO payment page.
- The swap has not delivered yet: check its order page. FixedFloat's FAQ says that after an expired order you can continue at the float rate or ask for a refund minus the network fee. SideShift says deposits outside the range or after expiry may be refunded or processed after review. Both services offer a support chat on their site; give them your order number.
- The swap delivered, but the ROZO page still waits: contact ROZO support with the delivery transaction hash, using the support chat on the payment page, hi@rozo.ai or our Discord. Do not pay a second time.
- Too little or too much arrived at ROZO: our guide on sending the wrong amount explains what the page shows and what to do.
- Credits never arrived after the payment completed: read our guide to a crypto payment that was not credited.
